Fairies of the Forest
“It’s dangerous. It’s dangerous. I can see them. I can see them. I can see them
too. I can see them very well. I can see them clearly. They don’t disappear. I
don’t want to go home. Let’s not go home.”
Deep in the heart of the forest where the crystal waters of snowmelt flow is
a place of unearthly serenity where the fairies of the forest are born. As bubbles
rise to the surface of the river and burst, the fairies are born amidst seven
colors of light. This light looks like confetti, so the Nyancos named the river,
“Confetti River.” When the snow melts each year, the Nyancos come to this river
to see the fairies. When all the murmuring and rustling and fluttering finally
settles down, the Nyancos are surrounded by a swarm of fairies. |
