The City
The Nyancos were very worried and went to look for everyone in the city. They
hadn’t been to the city for some time and found it bustling with activity. It
was so dazzlingly bright that it was hard for them to keep their eyes open. They
walked around, stopping in front of a store that had a pretty dress displayed
in the window with a “sea goldfish” tag on it. They dashed inside to talk to the
people who worked in the shop. “Do you know where the sea goldfish are?” they
asked excitedly. The shopgirl replied, “We use only the best sea goldfish here.”
At first the Nyancos didn’t understand the meaning of her reply, but the next
moment they froze. That pretty dress in the shop window was made from the scales
of the sea goldfish! And next to this shop was a store selling forest jellyfish
accessories! And the store across the street was selling fairies with their wings
clipped as pets! |
